This policy explains how EstateHQ uses cookies and similar technologies, what they are, and how you can control them.
1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow sites to recognise you, keep you signed in, and understand how their pages are used. We also use similar technologies such as local storage and server-side session cookies issued by Supabase.
2. Essential cookies
These are required for the service to work and cannot be turned off. They include:

3. Analytics cookies (PostHog)
With your consent we use PostHog to understand which features are most used and where people get stuck. Analytics are anonymous — we do not link them to your account where avoidable, and we never sell this data to third parties.

4. Preference cookies
Optional cookies that remember non-critical UI choices, such as collapsed sidebar state or default dashboard tab.
5. How to manage your choices
You can update your choices at any time from the cookie banner at the bottom of the screen on a fresh visit, or by clearing the estatehq_consent cookie in your browser. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in.
6. Changes to this policy
We’ll update this page if we add new cookies or change how we use existing ones. Significant changes will trigger the banner to reappear so you can review your choices.
